DJI (Ronin) RS 2 Pro Combo
Lift your cinematography to a higher level with the DJI RS 2. This gimbal, suitable for larger mirrorless and SLR cameras, will help you make smooth and dynamic shots. The Pro Combo edition gives you everything you need to make stunning images.
The stabiliser system has a maximum load-bearing capacity of 4.5 kg. Weighing a little over 1 kg itself, that is a fantastic ratio. The gimbal owes its light weight to its carbon construction, which also makes it incredibly strong. DJI's Titan Stabilization Algorithm provides unrivalled stabilisation. Combined with the SuperSmooth technology, even the smallest movements are eliminated, even when shooting with a 100mm lens.
The companion iOS/Android Ronin app offers many creative features in addition to standard time-lapse and panorama functions. Time Tunnel combines roll motion with hyperlapse to "twist" space and time. Track allows you to create a repeatable camera movement path for a tightly choreographed shot. Force Mobile makes the gimbal follow your smartphone's movements for even smoother images.
The DJI RS 2 has a colour display with touch control, which allows you to quickly and easily choose the right settings. For example, you can immediately get started with ActiveTrack 3.0 to automatically track your subject. The built-in rotary wheel controls the focus motor (only standard with the Pro Combo) for very accurate focusing. The 3D focusing system* uses Time of Flight (ToF) sensors to determine the distance between the lens and the subject, even in difficult lighting conditions. This also allows you to enjoy fast autofocus on lenses with manual focus.
The RavenEye WiFi transmitter (only standard with the Pro Combo) provides enormous flexibility and a smooth workflow. Not only can you see live on your smartphone what you are filming in Full HD, you can also adjust the camera settings. The RS 2 also uses the camera's signal to control the ActiveTrack 3.0 built into the gimbal.
The gimbal is designed for quick and direct use. It has an Arca-Swiss quick release plate so you can attach the camera in just a few seconds, and the Fine-Tune balance knob allows you to ensure the perfect balance for your gear. The arms boast a Teflon coating for an even smoother movement. The axles can be secured, which is useful e.g. during transport. The gimbal has a maximum operating time of 12 hours with the BG30 grip and can be charged separately from the RS 2. The included carrying case is waterproof and has a separate compartment for all loose parts. This way, you can take the RS 2 with you everywhere and always in an organised manner.
