What is a selfie stick?

The maximum extension length of the sticks goes up to 2 meters, while many models can be extended to 50 to 100 centimeters.

Many selfie sticks are equipped with Bluetooth, so a connection can easily be made with a smartphone or compact camera. Via this wireless connection, it is possible to operate the recording button of the camera remotely. As a result, you can first calmly record the subject and get it positioned properly before you take the photo. Another possibility is to choose a selfie stick with a shutter release button control. Selfie sticks are often used together with a smartphone, but the contemporary sticks can also work with certain separate cameras.
