The Sony E 18-110mm F4 FE PZ G OSS Power Zoom provides a wide focal range and a constant f/4 aperture in a compact housing. This versatile lightweight lens is an optimum choice for videographers and film makers. Its compact size is sufficiently compensated by the professional features. The 18-110m focal length covers a wide and respectable viewing angle range.

This camera is equipped with Smooth Motion Optics from Sony. This highly modern mechanism will minimize the shifting of the focal point to the extreme. In addition, the camera is equipped with a separate focus, zoom and iris rings to ensure full manual control. Simply retracting the focus ring, will activate manual focus. The focus ring is provided with an integrated standard cinema mode. In addition, the zoom function can be operated both manually and electronically.

For use together with smaller, less robust cameras, a quick-release tripod foot is included. The foot is attached to the rear side of the lens for use with a tripod.

Smooth Motion Optics

Sony's highly modern SMO (Smooth Motion Optics) substantially minimizes all optical shifts that may have a negative influence on the image quality. Focus breathing is minimized by the internal focus mechanism. Shifting focus while zooming, is eliminated by accurately tracking / adjusting the focus. You hereby also benefit from a minimization of a possible axial shifting.

Versatile Zoom Control

In addition to the smooth automatic zoom, a mechanical manual zoom ensures for a direct and precise control. The zoom ring can be adjusted as needed. In this a slow (slow) or smooth (smooth) mode is supported. The internal zoom mechanism ensures that the length of the lens remains constant, regardless of the focal length.

Professional Focus Features
