This versatile system camera features a 24.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and has an ISO range of 100-51200, making it possible to capture detailed photos and videos in all lighting situations. Sony A7C Black Edition (ILCE7CB.CEC) films in 4K/30fps and in Full HD even at 120fps. This allows you to easily shoot slow motion videos and slow down your footage by up to eight times. This also makes the camera very suitable for video recording.
The AF technology allows you to focus quickly during movie recording and the 5-axis in-body image stabilisation minimises camera shake, providing stable images. Thanks to Sony's real-time autofocus system, you'll always keep your subjects in focus. The focus even follows the eyes in photo (human and animal) and video mode (human only) and the Silent Shooting mode lets you take unnoticed photos of animals and/or people.
From the 3" fold-out LCD Touchscreen, you can not only view your images live, but also have the ability to shoot, film and even vlog from very low angles. TheMulti Interface Shoe allows you to connect external flashes, continuous lighting or microphones. Built-in WiFi and NFC support means you can also quickly pair the camera with a mobile device. The Sigma 28-70mm F/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a professional standard zoom lens in a compact body. Excellent optical performance is combined with a fast constant aperture. This version features the Sony E mount.
The optical design is based on 24-70mm F/2.8 DG DN from the Art line, but the lens is significantly smaller and lighter. Despite this, no concessions have been made in terms of performance. The design features three aspherical, two FLD and two SLD lens elements. These thoroughly correct axial chromatic aberration and sagittal coma aberration for uniform sharpness from centre to corners. In addition, the Super Multi-Layer and Nanon Porous Coating ensure perfect control of flare and high-contrast images in backlight. Finally, the front lens has a water- and oil-repellent coating, making it easy to keep clean.
The 28-70mm weighs just 470g, making it great for taking anywhere. A lightweight focusing element has been used which keeps the autofocus unit compact. Combined with the extremely quiet and fast stepping motor, this results in responsive and almost silent autofocus performance. Following the design concept of the Contemporary line, the lens features dust- and splashproof construction at the mount and smaller switches. High-quality materials and techniques ensure that all components work well and continue to work well even under extreme temperature fluctuations.
