The Sirui RX-2214 Reporter is a very strong carbon tripod from the Sirui RX series which distinguishes itself from other tripods with the removable mounting plate. This unique feature allows the mounting plate to be changed for the 75mm bowl or the center column. An Allen wrench is provided to make switching easy. The RX-2214 has four leg sections that you can adjust through rotation lock and the maximum height, including center column, is 183 centimeters. Because the position of the legs is also adjustable, a minimum height of only 11.5 centimeters can be achieved, ideal for macrophotography, for example. The maximum load capacity of this tripod is up to 18 kg, so you can also work with heavy DSLRs and video cameras. The RX-2214 Reporter comes standard with rubber feet, but comes also with steel spikes that also provide a good grip on soft surfaces.
