The Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM art L-Mount is a fast and versatile lens designed to achieve optical performance by integrating both three Special Low Dispersion glass elements and one aspherical glass element. These elements are combined with an advanced optical design to minimise distortion and chromatic aberrations and provide high image sharpness and clarity. A Super Multi Coating is also applied to the lens elements to reduce flare and byproducts for higher contrast and color fidelity. In addition, the 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM art L-Mount has a clear maximum aperture of f/1.4 with a rounded nine-bladed aperture for selective focus and shallow depth of field with smooth bokeh. It also features a Hyper Sonic Motor for fast, smooth and quiet autofocus performance with manual focus. The housing is made of thermally stable composite material for added durability, and a brass bayonet mount also provides a solid and precise mounting.
