Really Right Stuff Universal Leveling Base 3/8" Screw

The Really Right Stuff Universal Levelling Base 3/8" Screw is a leveling base for your tripod. It is the perfect base for gimbal heads, panorama heads, fluid heads and even ball heads. Each levelling base offers +/- 15 degree of levelling capability and can be securely locked with just one turn. This levelling base is designed to be compatible with all tripods. It has a 3/8 "-16 connection at the bottom, allowing it to be screwed onto any mounting platform with a studs of the same size and thread spout (3/8"-16).

Screw the levelling base onto the platform of your tripod, or another mounting platform on which you want to mount a levelling base. Turn the handle to lock and unlock the base. The smooth movement allows smooth and fast levelling, regardless of the load.

The unique design of this levelling base ensures that the tripod reaches the ground as low as possible. This was achieved by replacing the handle that falls below the top of the tripod with a relatively low-profile locking mechanism located above the top. In addition, this locking ring gives the user more leverage for better locking. This is the perfect basis for all Really Right Stuff panorama devices used on an RRS Series 2 tripod.
