The Olympus 8x42 PRO is a roof-top binocular that is easy to carry and fits well in your hand thanks to its light weight and compact size. With various lens elements and coatings, you will always have a sharp image.
For example, the binoculars feature the well-known Zuiko lenses with Extra Low Dispersion elements to prevent chromatic abberations. In addition, the use of a ZERO coating also reduces reflections and scattering of light. The viewer is also easy to focus the image. For instance, the viewer features a central knob for easy focusing and also a built-in diopter correction for focusing by eye. If you wear glasses, turning in the eyepieces allows you to see clearly what is happening in the distance. Always optimal image quality, therefore!
The binoculars' housing is filled with nitrogen, making the binoculars waterproof and preventing condensation on the eyepieces. An oil-repellent coating has also been applied, making the binoculars easy to clean.
The Olympus 8x42 PRO is also good to use for insect and plant observation. With a short focus distance of 1.5 metres, you can reach the ground well to observe the smallest details. Included with the scope is a carrying strap, lens caps and a protective case so you have good protection for your scope, but can also easily take it with you.
