The NiSi Close-up Lens Kit NC 58 mm (with 49 and 52 mm adapters) is the most effective way of attaining a shorter minimum focusing distance. The magnification achieved depends on the focal range of the lens you use. This will be higher at longer focal distances. The dioptres of the NiSi 58 mm are +5 and are made of double optical corrective glass in an apochromatic design and with multi nano coating. This enables advanced resolution and natural colours with almost no purple/green edges, both in focus and in bokeh.
The close-up magnification is 1:1 at a focal distance of 120 mm. The NiSi Close Up Lens has no vignetting at 35 mm on a full frame sensor camera and 24 mm on an APS-C sensor camera. The recommended working distance is between 9 and 22 centimetres. This distance shortens when you combine the close-up lens with a macro lens.
Suitable for:
- lenses with a 58 mm filter thread with a focal distance between 24-250 mm prime / zoom / macro for APS-C
- lenses with a 58 mm filter thread with a focal distance between 35-250 mm prime / zoom / macro for full frame
