The Nikon Prostaff 1000 is a portable laser rangefinder with a range of 5 to 910m. It has a compact and lightweight design and is flexible in use thanks to a target priority switching system. The First Target Priority mode gives the distance to the closest subject in a group of possible targets, while the Farthest Target Priority mode gives the distance to the farthest subject. One press of a button is enough to display distances immediately, in 1m steps. You can also choose between a single measurement and continuous measurement for up to eight seconds. The high-quality optical system with 6x magnification and multi-layer coating always provides a bright and clear image.

Flexible targeting over long distances
Cover the entire area with ease thanks to the wide measuring range from 5-910m. The Prostaff 1000's flexible Target Priority Switching System helps you determine your target. When faced with overlapping subjects, you can choose between First Target Priority mode to show the distance to the nearest subject and Distant Target Priority mode to show the distance to the farthest subject. The measurements are quickly visible on the clear display, in 1m steps. If the first measurement fails, the device automatically continues measuring for a maximum of four seconds until it succeeds. You can measure continuously for up to eight seconds by pressing and holding the on/off button. This allows you to quickly and easily scan the environment and determine the distances to various subjects.

Clear, accurate picture
The high quality optical system with 6x magnification has a multi-layer coating on the lens and prism, for a clear, defined image that makes it easier to determine your target. The large 16.7mm eye relief makes it a delight to use, even for spectacle wearers. Another feature is diopter adjustment so that you can fine-tune the image for your eyes.

With its compact and lightweight design, this device fits perfectly in your hand and fits easily in your jacket pocket. The PROSTAFF 1000 is robust and rain resistant (equivalent to JIS/IEC protection class 4 (IPX4)) and can be used in temperatures from -10 °C to +50 °C.
