The Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 8x56 binoculars offer a superior viewing experience by combining well-designed optics and a wide field of view with a lightweight and durable body.

The compact Schmidt-Pechan roof-edge prisms help keep the optical tubes thin, despite the huge objective lenses, and deliver vivid, true-colour images that are bright and sharp across the entire field of view with limited internal light loss or diffraction. The objective lenses are treated with patented anti-reflection MeoBright multicoatings to maximise light transmission and are further treated with Meopta's patented MeoShield and MeoDrop outer coatings that protect the lens surfaces from scratches and make cleaning oils and other contaminants easy without leaving residue. These coatings ensure that the lenses remain free of imperfections that can disrupt your viewing experience and leave you immersed in vision. When taken together, the prisms and coatings produce bright and sharp, high-contrast images with accurate colour reproduction and sharp resolution. The combination of moderate magnification and a large objective produces an exceptionally wide exit pupil that delivers huge amounts of light into your eye, keeping the image clear and sharp even when limited light is available, such as before dawn and late dusk.

Meopta has designed the binoculars with ergonomics in mind to minimise user fatigue during long observations. The large central focusing wheel is easy to use with both hands and a lockable dioptric correction knob, located on the focusing knob, ensures accurate focusing even if you normally wear corrective glasses. The housing is made of lightweight and durable aluminium alloy that is centrally loaded by the prism design, making it comfortable to hold. A protective rubber armour encases the scope and provides a non-slip grip, especially in cold and wet conditions. The housing is nitrogen-filled and sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions.
