The Laowa 9mm T2.9 ZERO-D Cine Lens is a rectilinear ultra-wide-angle lens for APS-C cameras’s. Unlike other wide-angle lenses, straight lines, despite the viewing angle of 135°, actually stay straight. This is ideal if you want to depict a wide landscape in a shot. Because the lens is further composed of two aspherical elements and three additional 'extra-low dispersion' elements, chromatic aberration is kept to a minimum. As a result, you benefit from excellent sharpness and optimum colour reproduction. The maximum aperture of T2.9 also allows you to shoot in low light. In addition, this aperture allows you to create a small depth of field with a wider perspective.
