Harman HAR1170872-GDSRC1M paper (127cm x 30m) is high-quality, gradation-variable black and white paper for digital exposure. Unique, panchromatic black and white paper, specially designed for laser exposure in digital enlargers and minilabs. The paper combines the well-known high-quality silver halide technology, which Harman proves every day in the market-leading black and white papers, with a new emulsion that enables the best possible black and white enlargements of digital files. The very white, medium-weight (190 gram/m²) PE paper base with the new coating combines a neutral image tone with brilliant white and deep black.
The fine gray gradation, combined with the sharpness possible with laser exposure, leads to results that are at least equivalent to analog exposure in the enlarger and much better than those achievable with digital exposure on colour paper. In particular, colour shifts due to tonal fluctuations in lighting and processing, as well as blurring during longer presentations, are not a problem thanks to the use of silver for image composition.
After exposure and processing in a black-and-white paper process, you get a conventional black-and-white image with all the known advantages. In the case of minilabs, the processing part must be converted to the black and white paper process; then digital minilabs such as the Fuji Frontier 3XX series and the Noritsu LPS24PRO can also be used for enlargements on this black and white paper.
