Incidents are detected, sharply recorded, saved and automatically uploaded to the secure online vault. In addition, Live View monitoring even lets you monitor your car from a distance from your smartphone. The camera even alerts you when you have parked the car and a possible incident occurs. This requires an active Wi-Fi connection. Furthermore, thanks to Garmin Clarity™ HDR optics, you can capture crisp, clear images during the day, as well as at night.
The dash cam's advanced features keep you alert. These include receiving rear-end collisions, lane change alerts, alerts when traffic in front of you starts moving again and red light and speed camera alerts. In addition, you can easily record a timelapse with the dash cam.
