The Fujinon XF 8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR lens is designed for use with X-Series digital cameras. The XF8-16 mm F2.8 R LM WR is a fast ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a constant maximum aperture of F2.8 and corresponds to 12-24 mm in the 35 mm format. It complements the other F2.8 zoom lenses (XF16-55 mm F2.8 R LM WR and XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR) to create a premium trio of lenses that reach the focal lengths 12 mm all the way up to 213 mm decks, equivalent to the 35 mm format. The excellent image quality of this lens and the maximum aperture of F2.8 make this product a perfect choice for landscape and architectural photography with an emphatic sense of perspective, interior photography in restaurants and hotels, but also for night landscapes and astrophotography.
The Fujinon XF8-16mm F2.8 R LM WR lens can use the full capabilities of Fujifilm's X-Trans CMOS sensor to achieve excellent sharpness even when the diaphragm is wide open.
