The Fujifilm X-T3 body features an X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 sensor and an X-Processor 4 image processor. This produces a resolution of 26.1 megapixels.The image quality has been further enhanced by this sensor and processor, with false colours suppressed as much as possible. The BSI sensor ensures better light capture, which in turn improves noise performance. The ISO value can be decreased to 160.

"Sport Finder" and "Pre Shoot"

De Fujifilm X-T3 features a "sport finder" mode. In this mode, you can create 30 frames of 16.6 megapixels per second in combination with the electronic shutter. As soon as you select the "sport finder mode", a 1.25x cropped frame appears. This way you can see what is happening outside the image. This gives you the time to set the camera to an object or person that comes into the frame later. This mode is ideal for shooting athletes, vehicles, animals, children, etc. If you use the mechanical shutter, the camera shoots 11 frames per second.The electronic viewfinder of the X-T3 offers a continuous view of the subject, as the camera has the ability to shoot "blackout free" photos. This electronic viewfinder (EVF) has 3.69 million dots and a magnification factor of 0.75 times. The camera also has a "Pre Shoot" function. In this mode, the camera starts photographing when you press the shutter button halfway. That way you won't miss a single shot!

Improved autofocus system and video functionality

The X-T3 has an autofocus system that covers the entire sensor surface area. The sensor has 425 autofocus points. The autofocus and sensor together ensure that the camera focuses quickly. Face and eye detection focus have been improved as well. They are now twice as fast — ideal when people are constantly on the move.

Video functionality has also been improved compared to previous models. Videos can now be recorded in DCI 4K (4096 x 2160 pixels) and UHD/4K (3840 x 2160 pixels), with both in 60 frames per second. The camera's 10-bit colour depth means that the number of colours and shades is approximately 64 times greater than with an 8-bit colour depth. Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) will also be supported for this camera. This gives you the option to save film simulations and F-Log.

Film simulations and ease-of-use

The X-T3 mirrorless camera features 16 different film simulations, so you can let your creativity have free rein. This mirrorless camera includes "Colour Chrome Effect" and "Monochrome Effect" modes. With the "Colour Chrome Effect", colours appear deeper and more saturated in your captures. The 'Monochrome Effect' is ideal to emphasize the cold and warm tones in your silver/white recordings. 

The camera is also very user-friendly. Buttons and dials are within easy reach. The push buttons are a nice size, making operation much easier. You can also connect a battery grip to the X-T3, allowing you to increase the number of shots to 1,100. Finally, the viewfinder can be adjusted to suit your eyes. You can then also lock this diopter setting.

Smooth focus and reliable shooting

The XF 18-55 mm features a focal length of 27-84 mm, equivalent to 35 mm format. This results in a basic wide-angle to medium-sized telephoto standard zoom range. The F/2.8-4 aperture ensures the lens quickly remains on most focal lengths, and the three aspherical lens elements and an abnormal dispersion element prevent aberration to provide you with sharp detailing and accurate colours across the entire image.

A fast, linear motor-driven autofocus system retains supple, fast focus and fast to yield reliable shots. An optical image stabilization system helps keep your shots sharp by compensating for any camera shake, especially in low light, and its focus range starts at 30 cm in wide-angle and 45 cm in telephoto zoom.

Fujifilm XF 55-200 mm F/3.5-4.8 R LM OiS black

The Fujifilm XF 55-200 mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS is a telephoto zoom lens for the X-series of mirrorless cameras. The 55-200 mm features a 35 mm focal length equivalent to 84-305 mm, allowing the 55-200 mm to do everything from portrait-length to super-telephoto.

The minimum focusing distance is 1.1 m at all focal lengths, enabling telephoto close-ups. Up to 4.5 stops of shake correction is possible via the OIS image stabilisation, for sharp images in low light or when using the longest focal length. Two linear motors provide high-speed autofocus (0.28 seconds) as well as smooth and quiet operation, which is important for stability at long focal lengths and when shooting video. 

The Fujifilm XF 55-200 mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS consists of an aspherical element, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens elements and a Super ED element to minimise chromatic aberration and guarantee corner-to-corner sharpness throughout the zoom range. Fujifilm's HT-EBC lens coating controls reflections and significantly reduces flare and ghosting.
