The GFX 50S II sensor's design is unique in that it utilises smaller, light-absorbing micro lenses on the sensor. This creates greater distance between adjoining pixels and increases the light output per pixel. This in turn results in ultra-sharpness, excellent ISO sensitivity, enhanced dynamic range and deeper tonality.

The GFX 50S II's autofocus algorithm is also much improved compared to its predecessor. The autofocus system is supported by the powerful X Processor 4, for even more accurate focusing. Movement blur is minimised thanks to the contrast detection functionality during automatic focus. Moreover, the AF system's refresh rate has been improved. The result: improved focus with eye and face detection. This offers the opportunity to focus quickly whilst capturing moving subjects.

If you're looking to take handheld photo or video footage, the compact 5 axis built-in stabilisation system will suit you down to the ground. You see, this system suppresses camera shake in up to 6.5 stops. This facilitates easy handheld shooting without the need for a tripod.

At the point you are ready to create a particular ambience whilst shooting, you can use the filming simulations the GFX 50S II has to offer. This camera features a whopping 19 different filming simulations that can be tweaked to a wide range of subjects and situations.

The Fujifilm GF 35-70mm is an exceptionally lightweight, compact zoom lens for the Fujifilm GFX series that fits snugly in the palm of your hand. Compared to 35mm full frame cameras, this lens has a 28-55mm range and weighs just 390g, ideal therefore to always have with you in your camera bag. The GF 35-70mm features good quality, fast autofocus, which makes it ideal for capturing every day scenes, even during handheld shooting.

The autofocus is supported by a stepper motor, for silent, fast and accurate automatic focus. With the additional Face/Eye detection autofocus mode, your subject's face will always come into sharp focus. Moreover, using the minimum 35 cm focal distance, you can take stunning close-up shots across the entire zoom range.

The optical construction comprises 11 lens elements in 9 groups, including one aspherical lens element and two ED lens elements. These keep disturbing effects, such as spherical and chromatic aberrations to a minimum. The housing of this versatile lens is dust & moisture proof, and is even usuable in temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius.
