Designed for mobile journalists, run-and-gun videographers and live streamers, the Comica Multifunctional Smartphone Video Kit combines a compact shotgun microphone with a phone clamp and mini tripod. This cost-effective solution lets you create your own portable smartphone video rig, ideal for enhancing the quality of YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams and interviews, when shooting at home or on the go.
The lightweight shotgun microphone has a cardioïde recording pattern that captures sound directly in front of the microphone and suppresses unwanted ambient noise. It also features a built-in shock absorber that reduces vibration noise while moving. The microphone can be connected to iOS/Android smartphones equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it delivers significantly improved sound compared to the built-in microphones on these devices.
You can quickly adjust the universal clamp to fit your smartphone, and a shoe mount sits on top of the clamp to hold the microphone above the phone. Alternatively, the shoe mount can accommodate an LED light (sold separately) instead of the microphone. Attach the mini tripod to the clamp. The adjustable ball head of the tripod can be used to safely tilt and position the phone on a desk, or you can fold the tripod into a handle for working out of hand.
Easy to use with plug-and-play operation, the microphone is powered by your phone for battery-free operation. A foam windshield, a furry windshield, a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS coiled smartphone cable and a carrying case are included.
