The High Dynamic Range (HDR) image sensor ensures that the recordings made are of excellent quality, even when shooting in bright light. Too little light is no problem, thanks to the Ultra-High Pixel Size of 4.2 nanometers, which ensures clear images. The dynamic range is up to 115 dB.

The Brinno TLC200 Pro HDR Timelapse Camera has a standard BCS 295 kit lens. It has a viewing angle of 112°, an F2.0 aperture and a minimum focusing distance of 40 cm. If you prefer to use a different lens, this is possible: the TLC200 Pro HDR has a CS-mount interface, allowing you to use optional lenses.

|The camera has almost no modern facilities. Focusing etc. is by hand with crude and difficult lens adjustments and a laughably small and crude viewing screen. The programming is primitive and the handbook unhelpful. The photo quality is reasonable and there is the advantage that the time interval is programmable up o 24 hours per frame once the handbook has been translated. The camera is thus suitable for recording seasonal evolutionary changes and building construction but far too inconvenient for ordinary use.|
