The Bresser Messier EQ-5 - EXOS2 mount including tripod: mount and tripod. The Bresser EXOS 2 is a stable mount with high carrying capacity and accurate tracking for visual observations and astrophotography. Double radial deep-groove ball bearings in both axes ensure accurate, light running; the RA axis bearing is optimised for reduced backlash. The mount's tripod has been reinforced to better suppress vibrations. In addition, the EXOS 2 is very precisely processed.

Optionally, a motorised two-axis controller (Bresser EXOS Duo) or a GoTo kit can be retrofitted. This means you can keep the celestial body in your field of view or bring your next target into the eyepiece at the touch of a button. The EXOS 2 also lets you get started with astrophotography easily and inexpensively. Depending on its length and intended use, the Bresser EXOS 2 can be used with optics weighing up to 13 kg, for example with refractors up to an aperture of 152 mm or reflecting telescopes with a short focal length up to an aperture of 203 mm!
