Z-Cam E2-F8 (EF Mount)
The Z-Cam E2-F8 (EF-mount) is a professional camcorder that features a Full-Frame CMOS sensor with 10-bit 4:2:2 color support and a 14-stop dynamic range. It shoots images with a resolution of 8K with a frame rate of up to 30fps and uses Dual Native ISO technology. Supported recording formats include MOV, MP4 and ZRAW, using H.265 for 10-bit recording and H.264 for 8-bit recording. The HDMI 2.0 port supports 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 video output. Audio is recorded in 24-bit 48 kHz with an AAC or PCM that can be connected to a 3.5mm stereo jack or via a separately available XLR connector for which the 5-pin LEMO port can be used.
The E2-F8 (EF-mount) can be controlled in different ways: with serial ports, a 2.5mm LANC connector, a USB-C port, an Ethernet port or with the Z Camera iOS app. With the latter, the camera can be controlled via Wi-Fi, settings can be adjusted and live previews can be viewed. The camera can make Time-Lapse and slow-motion videos or be used for streaming via the Gigabit Ethernet. The camera can also be controlled locally with the buttons along the front of the camera. It can be powered with an L-series battery or via a power cable that fits into the 2-pin LEMO port. The camera also has a 12 VDC 2-pin LEMO power output to power accessories.
