Description
Voigtländer Lanthar 50mm F/3.5 Typ I Leica M Mount, Navy Blue
The Voigtländer Lanthar 50mm F/3.5 Type I Leica M Mount in Navy Blue is the anniversary edition of the APO-LANTHAR 50 mm F3.5 and is much more than just a lens: it is a collector's item that impresses with its elegant design, precise manufacturing and exceptional performance. It is produced in three unique colourways: Navy Blue, Grey and Olive Green. Each colour is strictly limited to 250 pieces, making the lens an exclusive highlight for photography enthusiasts.
Special features of this edition include: Maximum aperture F3.5: perfect for creative control over depth of field and lighting mood. Retro design: from the nostalgic filter diameter (φ34 mm) to the classically inspired straight screw slots, the lens is a tribute to the golden age of rangefinder lenses. Precision and control: the manual focus mechanism offers a silky-smooth operating feel. The coupling with the rangefinder works up to a distance of 0.7 m, while the minimum focussing distance is 0.45 m.
The lens hood made of solid brass is finely grooved at the tip and coated in the respective lacquer colours. Each lens has a numbered engraving documenting the restriction. In addition, the lens comes with an elegant brass front cap, a special metal rear cap and a high-quality lens bag.
The anniversary edition is based on the proven APO-LANTHAR 50 mm F3.5 Typ I and sets new standards in the standard lens class. The lens is apochromatically corrected, which virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations. With an elaborate construction of eight elements in six groups - including four made of glass with anomalous partial dispersion - it delivers excellent resolution and contrast across the entire image field.
Despite its classic design, the anniversary lens is versatile and optimized for full-size Leica M mount sensors. With the help of optionally available adapters, it can be easily used on modern digital cameras, including systems from Sony (E mount), Fujifilm (X mount) and Nikon (Z mount).
