The Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter - Canon FD & FL 35mm SLR to Sony Alpha E-Mount enables the use of a Canon FD or FL-mount lens with a Sony E-mount camera. Designed to support focusing to infinity, it is made of brass and aluminium alloy along with a copper mounting ring for a durable, yet lightweight camera-lens connection.

The Vizelex ND Throttle is known for having a built-in variable neutral density filter that offers 2 to 8 stops of light reduction. The new Vizelex Cine ND Throttle now features a rotating ring with gears for more precise ND selections and can be used with follow-focus accessories. This small change makes the Vizelex Cine ND Throttle a versatile tool for any videographer.

The Vizelex Cine ND Throttle reduces light transmission by one stop when in the 'Min' position. The adapter helps maintain a shallow depth of field in bright conditions, while eliminating the tedious process of changing filters every time the exposure changes. With the filter on the back, image quality is better than if the same filter were mounted on the front of a lens. The variable ND filter is made of optical polycarbonate (CR39) for clarity and durability.

This is a manual adapter, disrupting lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilisation, etc.). Some cameras need to be set up in a certain way to work with this adapter. Otherwise, you may get a message such as 'Error lens not attached - Check lens'.
