Vivitar filters are made from high-quality glass and each individual filter is heat-treated and has multi-coating to prevent flare and ghosting effects. The Vivitar ultraviolet filter minimizes the bluish tint that sometimes occurs in bright daylight and gives you clearer, sharper and more contrast-rich photos. The Vivitar ultraviolet filter is also a good way to protect your lens against dust and accidents. The circular polarizing filter (CPL) gives you control over the reflections in your photo, so you can enhance the reflection in glass or remove it from your photo. This is for example very useful when photographing buildings or the sky. The Neutral Density filter evenly reduces the intensity of the light, giving you more control over your aperture/shutter speed and allowing you to use the largest aperture even in bright light.
