Valoi Mask 6x6
The Valoi Mask 6x6 is specially made to fit both the Advancer with the holder on top and under the holder when used without the Advancer. The masks are an optional accessory for scanning smaller sizes.
Although the holder can accommodate a smaller format, some setups may have trouble with stray light causing glare in the lens or reflections on the film. In these cases, the mask blocks excess light when scanning a smaller format than the maximum size of the holder. A mask is not necessary for everyone, but can provide extra security if you want the cleanest scan possible.
The mask should be combined with its respective holder. The 6x6 fits into the Valoi 120 holder. Therefore, to use the mask, you should also buy the right holder.
