The Valoi Essential Copy Stand v2 holds your camera, allows you to change the height up and down relatively easily and lets you easily mount your camera in a position pointing downwards.

Unlike a tripod, which is designed to point the camera at a subject in front of you, the scan stand points the camera down at the desk where you place your film holder. From here, you can easily adjust the height by sliding the head up and down the rail of the stand instead of having to readjust the legs of a tripod. This makes it much quicker to set up and scan than with a traditional tripod.

The head of the stand is custom-made and designed specifically for the task of scanning. Its shape firmly supports the camera and provides a wide front, covered with a rubber material, that attaches to the base of the camera to prevent it from swinging. The wider front also accommodates a large, custom-made 40 mm-diameter tripod screw and for your hands to easily tighten it.

The metal parts of this product may have minor scratches or scuffs due to its manufacture and shipping. This is normal and does not affect performance - we do not replace parts with minor cosmetic damage.

Additional accessories sold separately are required to produce a ??final image, including a digital camera, a short-focus lens and a light source.
