Valoi easy35 Sprocket Holder
The Valoi easy35 Sprocket Holder is compatible with the easy35 system. It replaces the 35 mm holder supplied with the system's main unit and allows the user to scan the frame and the rebate area outside the frame, while keeping the film flat using a double S-curve track design.
The gate width is approximately 33.2 mm, allowing up to 95% of the film width to be scanned. Valoi easy35 holders work by feeding the film through a thin slit that goes through the entire holder and out the other side. This way, you can easily push or pull the film all the way through, saving time and effort compared to a traditional clamshell holder.
All Valoi holders use a double S-curve design, where the slit through which the film passes curves before and after the scanning port. By bending the Film Sprocket Holder slightly in one direction on both sides of the film, greater flatness is achieved than would be possible with a straight slit.
