Valoi easy Precision Framing Helicoid
The Valoi easy Precision Framing Helicoid is made for the Valoi easy systems (easy35 and easy120) and allows you to frame the image with 20 mm stepless adjustment. This allows precise adjustment of the frame that can optimise the aesthetics and resolution of the scan.
The helicoïde screws onto the spacer tubes supplied with the easy35 and easy120. Place it between the lens and the tubes, adjust, lock and start scanning.
In some cases you may find it useful to adjust the frame more precisely than the standard tubes supplied for the easy systems offer. Normally, adjusting with the smallest tube is sufficient, but in some applications it may be advantageous to adjust not in steps, but steplessly to get accurate framing. Such use cases might be to maximise your resolution by avoiding cropping in post-processing, or to achieve a certain aesthetic framing without cropping in post-processing.
The helicoïde can be adjusted to the desired length with a smooth and tight Special offer. Once you have found the exact right length, you can lock the length with two thumbscrews. This prevents movement in the helicoïde, keeping the frame sharp*. (*When used vertically, a heavy Camera and Lens can still move the helicoïde. Test this with your own equipment before using it in a vertical position).
Compatible with the easy35 and easy120, including most Lenses and cameras.
