Description
TTartisan APS-C Tilt 35mm F/1.4 Sony E mount
With the help of the TTartisan APS-C Tilt 35mm F/1.4 (Sony E Mount), a tilt lens, the real world is transformed into a charming miniature landscape. This makes it feel like stepping onto the island of Lilliput from Gulliver's Travels.
What is "Tilt"? With a conventional lens, the field of focus is always parallel to the sensor plane. For example, if you want to photograph everything at 5 metres sharp, you focus this area and aperture until the depth of field is correct.
With a tilt lens (tilt = tilting or panning), you can focus only ééone strip in the image, while the rest of the image remains out of focus. The optical axis is simply curved. This allows free positioning of the focal plane. For example, the tilt function allows the following motif to be captured even at open Aperture: a facade diagonally in focus yet in sharp focus from front to back.
Unique are also the video clips from the Lilliputian perspective. The stepless aperture ring with additional gear ring makes professional video work very comfortable.
The large aperture of f/1.4 allows low ISO even in low light. The soft bokeh, together with the tilt function, creates the unmistakable miniature effect. The tilt mechanism (8 degrees) works left and right. The angle of this "pan plane" can be adjusted by rotating it 360 degrees (every 15 degrees marked). The tilt and rotation functions are lockable with a separate Screw.
The TTartisan 35mm f/1.4 Tilt has an optical design with 7 elements in 6 groups. Focus and aperture are adjusted manually.
