The bright f/2.8 aperture helps when light drops, making it a strong choice for night scenes and wide astrophotography. And at 14mm, you can play with perspective: get close to your subject for a dramatic look, while still keeping the background fully in view.
This lens is fully manual focus (MF). That’s often exactly what you want with ultra-wide work: calm, precise focusing, especially for video, star shots or tripod setups.
Its optical design with aspherical elements is engineered to keep distortion under control and deliver consistent sharpness from center to edge. Plus, the included 77mm filter holder lets you use screw-in filters when needed.
