The Transcend DrivePro 230Q Privacy is a dashcam specially designed for German legislation. The dashcam offers comprehensive data protection thanks to a modified Loop function and the absence of parking controls.
Thanks to the Exmor sensor, the DrivePro 230Q captures high-resolution images with excellent colour quality, even in low-light conditions. The geïntegrated Wide Dynamic Range technology automatically balances the light and dark parts of captured images so that every shot is as clear as possible.
The Loop function has been adapted to hold up to two minutes of footage before older footage is overwritten. Only some recordings are retained, in case of emergency, for example. Image retention is done automatically via a G-sensor or manually by using the emergency button. Continuous monitoring is not possible with the DrivePro 230Q Data Privacy, the dashcam keeps invasion of privacy to a minimum.
The practical Snapshot function lets you take photos’s while recording video. This allows you to remove the dashcam from the car during an accident and capture detailed photos’s of the damage or surroundings.
