The Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System - V-mount (12512119) uses manually operated suction cups, while the Electronic Mounting Kit (12518722) is equipped with electronic suction cups. These offer extra safety because they automatically maintain a vacuum, detect pressure loss and pump independently during use.
The Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System – V-mount is an advanced gimbal support solution for filming from vehicles. The system uses a flexible design with trapezoidal plates and powerful suction cups, allowing camera and gimbal setups to be mounted accurately at different angles on vehicles.
The system's dovetail plate features safety pins at all mounting positions, ensuring increased structural safety. Thanks to the integrated sliding mechanism, the arm can be easily and accurately adjusted, which not only increases safety but also significantly improves ease of use.
The shock-absorbing arm supports loads of up to 13 kg and is equipped with an electronic shock absorber head. This uses a motor to improve the stability of the installation, similar to the operation of a gimbal.
