.The Thypoch Full-frame Simera 35mm F/1.4 Type II for Leica M mount in the colour silver is a vintage full-frame prime lens. Designed for Leica M-mount Cameras, this fast manual focus lens adds a nostalgic touch to images at a classic focal length. An Aperture release switch, next to the aperture ring, allows Users to seamlessly switch between smooth and click operation, making this prime lens well suited for both Videography and photography.
The Simera 35mm ASPH Type II version is ergonomically designed with a comfortable focusing knob, allowing smooth focusing with ééone finger.
The Simera 35mm f/1.4 features an aspherical element and three high refractive index elements to reduce colour cast and improve image quality.
Thanks to its ability to shoot with a bright f/1.4 aperture, high-quality images are guaranteed even in adverse lighting conditions. The lens' 14-blade Aperture createsëer circular bokeh that creates a soft and pleasing frame for your subject, which is especially useful for portraits. When capturing subjects up close, a minimum focusing distance of 45 cm is available.
When you turn the lens to 0.7 metres, you feel a damping that warns you that the lens' focusing distance is about to exceed the camera body's limit.
The Simera 35mm f/1.4 is equipped with a retro-ïnspired, square Lens hood that is anodised to prevent scratches. The thread on the inside of the lens hood ensures sharper images by blocking unwanted light.
