Description
The Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD lens has been designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tamron SP series lenses. This fast and bright lens is suitable for Nikon full-frame cameras and boasts the classic 35mm wide-angle focal length. The 35 mm f/1.4 delivers high resolution images with stunning bokeh effects.
Tamron has carefully eradicated optical aberrations that could degrade image quality with a design that aligns 14 elements in 10 groups. The optical construction features a generous array of special glasses, four LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements and three GT (Glass Moulded Aspherical) lens elements. The newly developed BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) Coating also corrects ghosting and flare to an unprecedented degree, and gives fine subject details with true clarity and astonishing contrast.
The AF drive is equipped with Tamron's USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor. But the real breakthrough is Tamron's all-new Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism that operates the large f/1.4 aperture's heavy focus unit with unparalleled speed and accuracy. This innovation ensures stable AF performance and improves reliability even under conditions of intensive professional use, including extreme and low temperatures.
