The Tamron 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD is a zoom lens. The zoom range covers wide-angle (35) to telephoto (100), making it ideal for reportage photography, weddings, portraits and trips. It is the first zoom lens for a full frame mirrorless camera with Sony E-mount. Capture stunning panoramas, stately buildings and dynamic close-ups. The lens is also suitable for beautiful sunrise and sunset footage, as well as striking architecture and interior shots. Taking photographs at twilight and night-time with this bright lens presents no problem at all. 

Thanks to an advanced optical design with four LD (Low Dispersion) and three GM (Glass Moulded Aspherical) lens elements which are optimally arranged, the 35-150mm F2-2.8 produces exceptional optical performance over the entire zoom range. Even when using with current digital cameras with a very high resolution, a high quality is consistently achieved as far as the edges of the image.

Thanks to the focal mechanism with a linear motor and VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive), this lens also has a very fast, and extremely accurate, autofocus.  

The Tamron 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD is compatible with the new 'Tamron Lens Utility' software. The 'Tamron Lens Utility' software runs on the user's computer, by connecting the lens via the special port with the optional Tamron USB-C connection cable. Users can adapt the lens' functions and update the firmware via the lens as opposed to via the camera body.
