The FX30 features S-Cinetone, which provides natural mid-tones, soft colours and impressive highlights essential for cinematic expression. For even more professional colour grading, the video camera offers 3 modes for shooting with the S-Log3 gamma curve. Would you prefer a little less work in post-processing? Then you have the option to include imported LUTs with modifications in the images.

Furthermore, the camera features a Dual Base ISO (800/2500) option, which enables top-quality shots in different lighting situations. Of course, with the FX30 you will also enjoy 4K 120P and FHD 240p shooting and film in 10bit 4:2:2, giving you more freedom to play with your colours and light.

Advanced autofocus performance

Thanks to the modern and accurate autofocus system, you will never have to take blurred images again. Maintaining focus on your subject, such as a human or animal, is now even easier. The AF system has autofocus points all over the screen and tracks your subject with ease. For example, the FX30 features unique AI-based real-time tracking. Whether you are using a shallow depth of field, or following a fast sports car, the FX30's autofocus keeps all your images in focus!

Excellent image stabilisation

You no longer have to worry about vibrations with the FX30 either; the cinema camera has an internal five-axis stabilisation system that stops even the worst movements! In addition, the FX30 features breathing compensation that lets you take even better images.

Compact design

The Sony FX30 has a compact and lightweight design and is the lightest model in the Cinema line, allowing you to shoot images even more comfortably! The body features five screw holes to which you can attach accessories, eliminating the need for a camera cage to be placed over your camera.

Flexible control for film

With a new menu, the Sony FX30 makes it even easier to get to your favourite settings quickly. In addition, you now get more assurance that your recording is in progress thanks to recording lights and highlighted recording displays. Of course, the camera also features RAW and time-code sync functionality.

The flexible, high-resolution LCD touch-panel monitor offers great positioning and framing freedom, which is ideal while using gimbals. Furthermore, the zoom lever operates compatible powered zoom lenses and allows Clear Image Zoom to be used with non-powered zoom and prime lenses.

For flexible exposure mode, it is possible to set automatic and manual modes for shutter speed and ISO, among others, independently. You can also use vertical markers to control framing in the horizontal direction.

Extensive connectivity options

The two XLR audio inputs allow for high-quality recordings. When you use an optional XLR microphone, digital audio data can be transferred directly to the camera, providing excellent audio quality. Of course, you can also take advantage of other connections, such as USB-C, Multi/Micro-USB, microphone, headphones and a Multi Interface shoe with built-in digital audio interface. The FX30 also supports UVC (USB Video Class) and UAC (USB Audio Class) and can be connected to a device to serve as a webcam.

The Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS E-Mount is a versatile wide-angle to short-telephoto zoom lens, designed for E-mount mirrorless cameras. To complement the useful range of focal lengths, there is a constant f/4 maximum aperture, which maintains consistent performance throughout the zoom range and also offers increased control over depth of field. The lens is equipped with an advanced optical design, which employs aspherical and extra-low dispersion glass elements to control colour fringing, distortion, and a variety of aberrations for greater sharpness and clarity. A Nano AR Coating has been applied to suppress lens flare and ghosting for high contrast and colour accuracy when working in difficult light conditions.

In addition, this 24-105mm f/4 lens incorporates an Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper hand-held shooting. This system can be paired with select cameras' sensor-shift image stabilization, for even more effective blur control. Suitable for both photos and video, a Direct Drive Super Sonic wave AF motor, along with an internal focusing design, provides quick and quiet focusing performance, as well as natural manual focus control. Additionally, this lens features a weather-resistant construction, along with a fluorine-coated front element, to enable its use in challenging weather conditions.
