Video recordings of 8K and 4K60P

Sony has also thought of photographers who like to make videos too, You can for instance film in 8K and 4K, use 10-bit 4:2:2 recordings and various image profiles are possible, like S-Cinetone and S-LOG. Overheating is no longer an issue, thanks to the heat transfer system you can take extended shots. You will also find a Full-HDMI connection in the body, and you will enjoy active focus compensation and an internal 8-stop image stabilisation. This makes the A7R V a real hybrid camera.

Made for professionals

The A7R V includes a unique 4-axis tilting touchscreen that allows you to fully tilt and flip the screen. The camera also contains an electronic OLED Quad-XGA viewfinder with 9.44 million dots resolution.

In terms of picture formats, you also have more choice with the A7R V: in addition to JPG, uncompressed RAW and compressed RAW, you can now also opt for lossless RAW. This image format ensures 50 to 80% smaller files with 26 MP, but without file loss.

Finally, the strong aluminium housing and shutter, which are copied from the Sony A1, make the A7R V a truly stable basis for photography and videographers who want to create even more professional images.

Super-fast transfer and connectivity

In terms of connectivity and transmission, the Sony A7R V has taken it a step further. You can enjoy a lightning-fast Wi-Fi transfer of 2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz and a SuperSpeed USB-C connection of 10 Gbps for faster remote control or transfer of your content. Of course, you will also find 2 card slots in the body, with which you can record on both CFexpress Type A and SD cards.
