The Sony FE 35mm F/1.8 lens is a fast and compact lens. It offers a versatile wide angle for your full-frame camera with an FE mount. The lens has a maximum aperture of F/1.8 for selective focusing effects and low-light work. The circular aperture with 9 blades provides smooth bokeh.

To ensure high image quality under various conditions, the lens' aspherical element reduces aberrations and distortions. Edge-to-edge contrast and sharpness are maintained in the process. For precise and fast focusing, the Sony 35mm F/1.8 lens uses a linear motor and an internal focusing design. The customizable focus knob locks focus when refocusing and can be set to activate other functions, such as Eye AF, AF On, Aperture Preview, Shot Result Preview and Bright Monitoring.

The Sony FE 35mm F/1.8 is suitable for full-frame cameras with an FE mount, but thanks to its compact size, it is also suitable for APS-C cameras. On an APS-C camera, the lens has a focal length of 52.5mm. The lens has a dust- and moisture-resistant construction. This makes the lens usable even in less than ideal weather conditions.
