The SmallRig Multifunctional VND Filter Tray Kit 4415 is designed for users of matte boxes (SmallRig ID: 3556 / 3645 - sold separately) to easily mount filters on the top of the matte box. The VND filter tray has an automatic locking mechanism, allowing it to be quickly unlocked at the touch of a button. With its slim design and front-mounted installation, it ensures no vignetting at focal lengths ≥16 mm (for full-frame cameras and lenses), effectively minimising glare in challenging conditions.
The filter tray allows for versatile combinations, with CPL, VND and diffusion filters magnetically stackable. The VND offers a range of 2-5 stops with continuous adjustment, avoiding the unwanted X-pattern effect with hard stops and light transmission control technology. The filters use imported high-definition glass with a 22-layer double-sided coating, ensuring highly accurate colour reproduction and minimal colour distortion within the wavelength range of 350-700 nm.
Please note:
Compatible only with SmallRig models such as 3556 / 3645 / 3641 / 3646 (sold separately).
Make sure the filter tray fits tightly to the lens for compatibility over a wider focal length range.
The VND filter does not have clear level markings.
When combining CPL1 with CPL2/CPL3 to form VND, make sure the alignment points are within the VND gear line.
