.The SmallRig 5312 Magic Arm with Crab-Shaped Clamp consists of a magic arm and a crab-shaped clip. One end features a 1/4"-20 screw and retractable pins, equipped with a knurled thumb screw for easy manual attachment, along with an extra hole to tighten with the supplied hex key.
The ball head provides smooth 360°-adjustments, allowing direct mounting of action cam, Monitor, video light and microphone. This magic arm effectively prevents the rotation of devices - such as cages for GoPro (SmallRig ID 3084C), cages for Insta360 X4 (SmallRig ID 4278) and cages for DJI Action 5 Pro (SmallRig ID 4119C) - which feature anti-twist holes with the same specification, ensuring safe and stable shooting.
The crab-shaped clip has an anti-twist design at the connection point with the magic arm to prevent loosening or detachment. It is suitable for tubes, tables, tripod legs or stabiliser rings. Moreover, it is designed with a pivot point at the jaw to improve compatibility with both flat and round surfaces by adjusting the rotation of the clamp point. Clip can be tightened Suitable for surfaces up to 50 mm wide and fitted with protective pads to prevent scratches and increase clamping stability.
