The SmallRig 4521 "Night Eagle" Cage for Nikon Z 6III is designed to provide a ??protective housing and versatile expansion options for the camera. The cage has a modern design with clean curves, subtle gold accents and a new gunmetal brown colour scheme. It uses a three-point locking system that secures the Nikon Z 6III via a lower 1/4"-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on either side, while built-in silicone pads prevent scratching the camera.

It offers unobstructed access to buttons, card slots, fold-out screens and battery compartments feature anti-bending positioning pins at the bottom and can be attached to the sides and top of the cage, allowing versatile expansions with microphones, lights and other accessories. The cage features various expansion interfaces, such as 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes and ARRI location holes, compatible with side handles (SmallRig ID 2093, 4015), top handles (SmallRig ID 3765), monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903, 2904), tripods (SmallRig ID 3989, 4465), power bank holders (SmallRig ID 2336) and mini V-mount battery plates (SmallRig ID 2987).

1/4"-20 mounting holes on the sides allow attachment of accessories such as the single rod clamp (SmallRig ID 3598), magic arm (SmallRig ID 3873) and side handle (SmallRig ID 4346). With built-in NATO rail on the left side for quick attachment and removal of side handles (SmallRig ID 3847, 4017). The cage also features built-in wrist strap slots for use with wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848, 2456), as well as an integrated QD interface compatible with a shoulder strap (SmallRig ID 4118). The Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom is compatible with Arca-type tripod and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro/ RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, allowing easy transitions between gimbals, handheld and tripod setups. In addition, a double-headed flat spanner on the base simplifies mounting and dismounting.
