The Sigma WR protector filter is a water-repellent protection filter for your lens. The diameter is 82mm and can therefore be used on lenses with a screw thread and the same filter size. The filter has no effect on the image quality, but it does keep out dust, moisture and other elements. You also do not run the risk of damaging the precious glass of your lens. The filter has multiple coatings to prevent ghosting. An anti-static coating ensures that the filter is not statically charged. In this way, dust is not attracted. The water-repellent (WR; Water Repellent) layer also ensures that both water and oil are easy to remove from the filter.
