The Sigma TC-2001 2.0 x Teleconverter for Nikon F lenses extends the focal point with 2 x. This tele converter comes with SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements to reduce chromatic aberrations while the optical quality is preserved. The converter is made up of 10 lens elements in 5 groups.
The 2 x tele converter reduces the maximum aperture with two stops. The autofocus keeps working to an aperture of f/8. This converter is an ideal combination with for example the Sigma 120-300 mm f/2.8, but can also be used in combination with the Sigma 150-600 mm f/5-6.3.
The TC-2001 is dust-and splash-proof and weighs 290 grams.
