The Samyang AF 60-180mm f/2.8 is a professional telephoto zoom lens for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras with FE mount. As part of the Compact Zoom Series, developed in collaboration with Schneider-Kreuznach, this lens combines a high-quality optical design with a surprisingly compact size. Weighing just 730 grams, it is considerably lighter than traditional 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses.

The constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 ensures consistent exposure across the entire zoom range and delivers excellent performance in low light. You can also easily create beautiful background blur, ideal for portraits and events, for example. With a range of 60-180mm, the lens is also highly versatile for sports, nature, travel and video. The advanced optical construction consists of 17 elements in 14 groups, including 2 aspherical, 7 ED and 1 HR element. Together, these minimise chromatic aberrations, distortion and reflections, so you benefit from sharp images with high contrast across the full zoom range. The Focus System ensures that image quality is also maintained at short focusing distances.

With a minimum focusing distance of just 35 centimetres and a maximum magnification of 0.26x, you can easily capture impressive close-ups without having to carry a separate macro lens. This also makes the lens suitable for detailed shots of products, flowers and small subjects, for example. The Linear STM autofocus focuses quickly, accurately and almost silently, allowing the lens to perform excellently for both photography and video. In addition, the lens features an AF/MF switch, Zoom Lock to prevent unwanted extension during transport and a USB-C connection for easy firmware updates. Thanks to the weather-resistant construction, you can also keep shooting with confidence in challenging weather conditions.
