The Samyang 100 mm F2.8 ED UMC Macro lens with a magnification of 1: 1 scale realizes full size images with superior image quality. This puts the essence of nature to a minimum focusing distance of only 30 cm. It is an extremely versatile lens that you can use both as macro lens for close-ups and as telephoto lens for portraits and landscapes. The large aperture of F2.8 offers you the best quality level under different conditions.
This lens is equipped with the exceptional optical technology of Samyang and consists of 15 glass lens elements in 12 groups. Including a high refraction lens part (HR) and extra low dispersion (ED) lens unit, which minimize unnecessary light distribution and high image quality possible from the centre to the corners of the image. The Samyang Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology optimizes the light and minimizes flare and ghosting.
