The PolarPro BaseCamp Directors KIT is a very comprehensive matte box including a filter holder with lens hood and flag, Stage 3 adapter, EVA Case, clamping rings, 77mm and 82mm Thread Plate, a VND 2-5 stops filter, a VND 6-9 stops filter and a CP filter. In addition, this box includes the special PolarPro Mist filter and Heavy Mist filter, BlueMorphic and GoldMorphic filters, and an ND8-GR soft grey gradient filter. The PolerPro BaseCamp kit is designed for use while shooting or filming landscapes in intense conditions. The filters feature an aluminium frame so you can easily slide a filter in in any situation, without fear of fingerprints on your glass.

You first mount the Thread Plate on your camera, then you also place the filter holder on the plate. By using the lens holder, you won't lose any details in your footage and it gives you extra protection on the go. The filter holder itself is already equipped with a polarisation filter slot to which you can easily add the CPOL filter. You secure this with a slider and on the side you can set the polarisation of the filter. Besides the polarisation filter, this kit also includes two VND filters. Both filters have an extra piece of aluminium at the top to hold it. The filter holder has an insert slide to insert a filter. By adjusting the CPOL filter you change between 2-5 stops or 6-9 stops.

The BaseCamp ND8-GR filter is a Soft grey gradient filter that corrects light by 3 stops at the top of the filter. This filter is perfect for balancing the exposure of the sky and ground. If you use this filter, you will need the included Stage 3 Adapter. You place the adapter on the Matte Box to place rectangular grey gradient filters on the filter holder.
The kit also features a PolarPro Mist and Heavy Mist filter. These give a dreamy, soft look to your footage. For even more creative effects, use the BaseCamp Morphic filters. These add professional blue or warm lens flares in anamorphic style to your images.

Finally, transport the kit safely and easily thanks to the sturdy EVA case. The bag can also be handled with gloves, allowing you to use it in any situation.
