In the Pentax KF, the PRIME MII processor minimizes noise and captures images with rich gradations and fine detail, even when shooting at a high ISO sensitivity of 102400.

High colour accuracy and resolution are achieved with Pentax's proprietary Pixel Shift Resolution System. This system takes four shots of one scene, with each shot shifting the sensor one pixel. Then these shots are merged, resulting in a high-quality image.
These high-quality features come together in a rugged, compact body that lets you get by even in extreme situations. The body can withstand rain and dust, as well as temperatures down to -10 °C. You can always hold this body firmly thanks to its excellent grip, even with gloves on. The tiltable LCD screen allows you to shoot from a variety of angles.
