The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ80 is a versatile point-and-shoot camera built for the multimedia traveller. Featuring an 18.1 megapixel 1/2.3 inch High Sensitivity MOS sensor and Venus Engine image processor, the camera offers rich image quality with reduced noise and ISO sensitivity up to 6400.
A range of continuous shooting modes are also available for working with moving subjects, including a top speed of 40fps when working with an electronic shutter function. For videographers, the TZ82 is also capable of 4K video recording at 30fps, as well as Full HD 1080p and HD 720p.
The camera includes a unique Post Focus function for choosing a specific focus point after shooting. As versatile as its shooting options, the TZ80 is characterized by its immense 30x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens, which has a 35 mm equivalent focal length of 24-720 mm. Together with the 5-axis Hybrid OIS, this ensures impressive photos and videos, free from unwanted camera shake.
Beyond the shooting capabilities, the camera also features an intuitive physical design that makes manual operation easy for more direct control over shooting functions. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with a 1,166k-dot Live View Finder and 3 inch 1.04m-dot LCD Touchscreen. In addition, the camera is equipped with Wi-Fi for wireless image sharing and remote control of the camera via linked mobile devices.
