This means you never miss that decisive moment again. The camera also features a new autofocus option, ‘Urban Sports’, allowing you to easily capture people breakdancing, skateboarding and doing parkour.

The DC-S1 Mark II records in 5.1K at 50 fps and 4K up to 120 fps. You have full control thanks to professional recording profiles such as V-Log and ARRI LogC3, giving you maximum flexibility for colour grading during post-production. Your videos always remain stable thanks to the 5-axis image stabilisation.

Panasonic LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8

The Panasonic LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 100° angle of view. Thanks to this wide angle of view, this lens is suitable for various applications, such as landscape, astro and architecture photography. In addition, the minimum focusing distance of 0.18 metres offers more possibilities when shooting close-ups. The lens construction consists of 13 lens elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical lenses, three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses, one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lens and one UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens. The three aspherical lenses ensure superior image performance and the three ED lenses suppress chromatic aberration. In addition, the large F/1.8 aperture with nine aperture blades delivers beautiful bokeh effects. The lens works smoothly and quietly with the camera’s fast AF system, because the digital signal between the camera and lens is exchanged at up to 240 fps. When focusing manually, the focus point shifts in non-linear mode by a variable amount, depending on the speed at which the focus ring is turned. In linear mode, the focus point shifts by a fixed amount, depending on how far the focus ring is turned. When recording videos, a mechanism in the lens suppresses ‘focus breathing’. Combined with aperture control in micro steps, allowing exposure to be adjusted smoothly, this mechanism enables professional-quality video recordings. Thanks to the compact design and low weight of 340 grams, the LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is easy to take with you. In addition, the robust, dust- and splash-resistant design can even withstand demanding conditions down to -10 degrees Celsius.
