OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II
The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II is the perfect telephoto lens for nature photographers with a maximum focal length of 400mm (comparable to an 800mm lens on a full frame camera). The lens is compatible with the MC-14 and MC-20 teleconverters that allow you to create a focal length of up to 1600mm (full frame equivalent). With the ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II, you get really close to the smallest and most distant subjects!
Over its entire length, the ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II delivers fantastic image quality. The lens consists of 21 lens elements including 4 ED elements, 2 Super HR and 2 HR. Thanks to 9 blades and a maximum aperture of F/5.0, you create very nice bokeh with this super-telephoto lens. The included lens hood prevents unwanted reflections and lens flare and provides extra protection for the front lens. Your shots will always be sharp thanks to fast autofocus and up to 7-stop Sync IS image stabilisation (together with a compatible OM SYSTEM camera). This also makes it very easy to photograph handheld. The ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II also comes with a detachable tripod base.
The lens combines its very good image quality with a compact, lightweight body. The ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II has a fluorine coating and IPX1 rating. This means it is dust- and splash-proof. So you can use the ED 100-400mm F/5.0-6.3 IS II in any situation.
